Vintage Notes

The growing season started out unusually mild, with higher precipitation levels than normal. The rain continued throughout the summer months, luckily, we had enough hot and sunny days at the end of summer and through the fall to allow full maturity in the grapes.  This turned out to be a terrific vintage.

Viticulture

Harvested from high quality vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula.

Vinification

Fermented on the skins in stainless steel for 12 days. Aged in French and American oak for 8 months.
